A BIZZARE story involves a squatter refusing to leave an owned home who also turned out to be a wanted man by US marshals.
Ronan McCabe was left with an unfortunate surprise when he realized squatters had taken over his home in Tucker, Georgia – he was trying to sell but they claimed to have a legitimate lease.
McCabe called the police multiple times to try and get them to leave but there was no success.
“This is my home. And there’s somebody in there, an intruder in there, intruders, who I do not know,” McCabe told Fox affiliate WAGA in Atlanta.
Squatters rights allow squatters to stay in a home due to rental scams that have been on the rise.
The squatter has been identified as Ramon Fuertes III and he was living there with a woman who called herself his wife.
The only way to remove them is by going through a lengthy legal process.
McCabe became extremely angry and got the news involved to shine a spotlight on the situation.
“They broke into my house and moved in. All the locks had been changed,” McCabe told WAGA.
Fuertes claimed to be a part of the “Sovereign Citizens Movement” – they don’t believe in government, identification, and taxes.
A news crew and McCabe headed to the home to request more information and tried to get Fuertes to leave.

Fuertes threatened to call the police and sue.
However, the police found it odd that he would call the police to help him if he was a part of the Sovereign Citizens Movement.
This led the police to show up at the home with more aggression this time.
HORROR TWISTS
But strangely the US Marshalls had arrived at the same time.
US Marshalls were after Fuertes for another investigation.
Police and court documents show Fuertes is a convicted federal felon, per WAGA.
The documents showed that he also has been in federal prison for child sex trafficking along with being accused of prostituting a young teen he called “Lollipop.”
Fuertes was eventually arrested.
The story takes another twist though.
The woman living with Fuertes refused to leave the home.
This meant McCabe still could not have his home back without legally removing her and putting him back to square one momentarily.
However, after some convincing police were able to convince the woman to leave.
