Sampaio had agreed to meet Landim for sex at his luxury apartment in Teresina, Brazil, in February 2021.

But while she kept him busy in the shower her boyfriend’s son Francisco Moises Sousa Batista Jr and two accomplices broke into the property.

After handcuffing Landim with plastic zip ties, Batista beat him mercilessly and used a revolver with two bullets to terrify him into revealing where his valuables were stashed.

Prosecutors told the 3rd Criminal Court of Teresina that frightened Landim finally cracked during a horrifying game of Russian roulette.

The gang stole cash, cameras, valuables and plundered Landim’s bank accounts after forcing him to hand over his passwords and PINs.

Chilling security CCTV footage seen at the trial shows the gang kicking down the apartment door as they burst in armed with a .38 revolver and automatic pistol.

But while they were ransacking the home Landim was able to call police who arrested Sampaio and her boyfriend on the spot.

Judges were told that Sampaio had helped plan the raid by tipping off her boyfriend about the time of the tryst and opening the security gates for him.

In a sentencing hearing on October 29, Judge João Antonio Bittencourt Braga Neto jailed Sampaio for 23 years and four months.

Her boyfriend Batista and an accomplice Jean Carlos were tried separately and both jailed for 20 years on October 28.

The fourth gang member Thiago Ruan Martins de Sousa was also sentenced to 20 years in prison.
