A LUXURY community has turned into an eerie ghost town after a major financial downfall.

Silverado Homes in Arizona had the potential to be a beautiful community filled with mansions before a major disaster hit.

In 2006, Mohave County approved plans to build a thriving community, right outside the town of Kingman.

Initial plans for the community included 12,000 homes, with 113 luxury options sitting on a 5,000-acre site.

If everything went according to plan, there would be an additional 1,600 acres that would be used specifically for schools, parks, sewage plants, fire stations, and more.

However, the plan would never be fully realized as the town failed two years into its creation.

The 2008 Market crash led to the county completely abandoning the town.

Today there are only 6 mansions that are currently standing in what could have been a thriving city.

Two YouTubers (@Urbax Vibes) named Zek and Mae have decided to tour the six mansions and the discovery was haunting.

“you can hear any little thing out here because it’s in the middle of nowhere,” Mae explained.

As they walked on a dirt road, these abandoned mansions sat on a hill, overlooking a mountain view.

All of the windows were broken from the outside, with some homes not even having a door anymore.

The walls were in the process of decaying, with an awning completely collapsed in the backyard.

“You can imagine how this place looked without the decay, it’s so cool,” Zek said as he stepped through the rouble of one of the homes.

Many of the homes were huge, including multiple bedrooms, living areas, and outdoor seating.

Walking through the forgotten neighborhood, it was easy to see that even the roads were abandoned.

“It was paved up to a certain point and then stopped” Mae pointed out.

“They didn’t even finish the road.”

The homes had shown signs of multiple animals living on the properties, with waste in many corners of the home.

One mansion had a living room filled with garbage, that no one could explain where it came from.

To this day while areas of the land are still considered private property, the abandoned area continues to remain the town that never was.
