In a recent candid conversation, Fox News host Sean Hannity shared insights into his relationship with fiancée Ainsley Earhardt, offering a rare peek into their typically private lives. Hannity, 64, opened up about his romance with the 49-year-old fellow Fox personality during an appearance on The Katie Miller Podcast.
Although the couple has kept their relationship largely away from the public eye, Hannity revealed that he proposed to Earhardt in December 2024 at their home church, marking a significant step in their journey together.
Discussing what makes their relationship special, Hannity expressed, “When you find someone who is completely supportive of everything you do, shares the same values, and enjoys the same activities, it really makes a difference.” He emphasized the importance of these shared values and interests in their bond.
Hannity also touched on their preferences for spending time together, stating, “We’re not into the big social scene. We prefer family dinners, being with our kids, and just having downtime, enjoying each other’s company.” This glimpse into their life reveals a couple that cherishes family and simplicity over the hustle of public life.
‘We’re not really into big social scene stuff. We like family dinners, we like to be with our kids and just have downtime, just have fun and just be with each other,’ he said.
Hannity shares two kids with ex-wife Jill Rhodes – daughter Merri Kelly Hannity, 24, and son Sean Patrick Hannity, 27 – while Earhardt has one daughter, Hayden Dubose Proctor, 10, with her ex, Will Proctor.
‘It’s kind of like when I’m with her, I’m on vacation,’ Hannity told Miller about Earhardt.
‘It just takes me out of my work mode,’ he added.

Elsewhere during the podcast episode, Hannity also spoke about popping the question to the Fox & Friends co-host.
Miller asked Hannity if it took him a lot of ‘courage’ to ask Earhardt to marry him, to which he said no.
‘It was as natural as us sitting here,’ Hannity said.
‘The only thing I had in the back of my head was, “What if she says no?”‘
But thankfully for Hannity, Earhardt did not decline the offer.
After news of their proposal reached the public, the couple revealed that getting engaged in a church was the ‘perfect place,’ given how they have bonded over their deep faith and ‘have placed God first in their relationship.’
And while they have chosen to keep much of their relationship out of the spotlight, they did share some adorable snaps from their winter Paris getaway this Christmas season.
Earhardt took to Instagram to share photos from their lavish vacation in a since-deleted post captured by the Daily Mail, as the blended family posed for a sweet selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower.

Other photos included the group standing outside of restaurant Chez Julien, as well as jumping for a silly photo in front of the Louvre Pyramid.
One adorable snap showed the couple – who have a 15-year age gap – smiling ear-to-ear as they embraced each other at the dinner table, with Earhardt looking stunning in a silk, white wrap top and a pair of diamond stud earrings.
Rumors of the Fox News hosts’ romance had been reported for years, but the two repeatedly refused to comment on the speculation until the Daily Mail broke the news of their relationship in 2023.
Their partnership has even earned the approval of President Donald Trump, as he once said they had the ‘greatest’ relationship while calling into Fox & Friends last year.
‘This could be the biggest – most important thing I’ve said,’ Trump said. ‘Those are two great – Ainsley and Sean – great people.’
