THE family of a popular energy engineer at the center of sick online rumors has been forced to break their silence.

Julian Brown, who boasts over 1 million followers on Instagram, is safe and not in danger, his mother said, after her 21-year-old son suddenly went quiet on his social media platforms two weeks ago.

Brown, who is renowned online for his work in the energy field, has been inactive online since July 9 after posting a worrying video where he claimed he was in danger.

“Something is happening, keep me in your prayers please. SCREEN RECORD THIS. I don’t know,” Brown captioned the video, which showed him inside a vehicle.

“I’m certainly under attack. I can’t go into so much detail,” he added.

Despite his inactivity on social media and his troubling final post, Brown’s mother, Nia, confirmed her son’s safety.

“I can confirm Julian is safe but in the best interest of his security I’m not able to provide any more information,” Nia told the Daily Mail.

Atlanta police also confirmed the agency is not currently looking for a missing person that matched Brown’s information.

“I can confirm that the Atlanta Police Department is not currently investigating any missing persons by that name,” the police department told The U.S. Sun.
