The commander-in-chief appeared to trip before departing for California.
The president, who was sporting shades, saluted to officials before walking up the steps.
Then, his knees suddenly gave way before quickly steadying himself.
Biden then climbed the rest of the steps while clutching the handrail.
The Republican National Committee was quick to mock Biden.
It comes just months after his team reportedly drafted a plan to stop Biden tripping while on the campaign trail, per Axios.
The White House has been batting away criticism that Biden is too old to run for re-election.
Biden’s age came into scrutiny after it was reported he would avoid criminal charges over storing classified documents.
US Attorney Robert Hur’s dossier said Biden wilfully retained the stash of files.
And, the president was deemed an elderly man with a poor memory in the damning report.
Biden also reportedly got confused over the dates he served as vice president while being quizzed.
The Democrat also got muddled over the year that his son Beau died.
Biden has vehemently stressed that he’s not too old to serve.
“I know what the hell I’m doing,” he snapped at reporters in a press conference after the findings were published.
“My memory is fine, take a look at what I’ve done since I’ve been president.”
