US-Israeli Iran Deception: A Coordinated Strategy

A bold claim emerges as US-Israeli coordination allegedly deceived Iran. The Jerusalem Post reports a senior Israeli official confirmed Tel Aviv and Washington collaborated to convince Tehran of viable diplomacy.

Hours before Israel’s Friday assault, President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social about negotiation commitment.

The Jerusalem Post states the Sunday US-Iranian nuclear talks formed a coordinated US-Israeli deception to lower Iran’s guard before Friday’s attack. Trump’s Truth Social post declares, “We remain committed to a Diplomatic Resolution to the Iran Nuclear Issue! My entire Administration has been directed to negotiate with Iran.”

The Jerusalem Post confirms a senior official received a “clear green light” from Washington.

Another official told the Post on Friday that Israel did not have the capability to completely take out Iran’s nuclear program, and that the goal needed to be causing significant damage to Iran’s missile array and assassination of senior leaders, in a way that would encourage other Iranian actors to act to bring down the regime. A third official, from the Knesset opposition, opined that the blows to Iran needed to be translated into a diplomatic achievement that would end Iran’s nuclear weapons program. This was the most important and most difficult stage, the official said, adding that he was not sure whether or not Israel was fully coordinated with the US.

Despite this uncertainty, The Times of Israel reveals Israel spent years preparing by building a drone base in Iran near Tehran. Mossad agents activated drones overnight, striking missile launchers aimed at Israel. Moreover, smuggled weapons systems disabled Iran’s air defenses, granting Israeli planes supremacy:

Israel spent years preparing for the operation against Iran’s nuclear and missile programs, a security official tells The Times of Israel, including building a drone base inside Iran and smuggling precision weapons systems and commandos into the country.

Antiwar.com reports Trump and Netanyahu discussed the attack during a Monday phone call, feigning opposition to deceive Iran. Furthermore, this coordination suggests a unified strategy. The attack hit nuclear facilities and killed leaders, per Antiwar.com. The Jerusalem Post warns of a month of missile exchanges.

Thus, this US-Israeli Iran deception influences U.S. support for Israel, costing billions annually. American citizens question the strategy’s cost, prompting debates on future Middle East policy.
