Creed III star Jonathan Majors is ARRESTED over claims he strangled, assaulted and harassed woman in NYC
- The Creed III star, 33, was taken into custody on Saturday morning
- The alleged victim, a female, told the police Majors got into an argument with her and proceeded to ‘attack her’

Jonathan Majors has been arrested for reportedly assaulting a woman in New York City.
The Creed III star, 33, was taken into custody on Saturday morning on charges of ‘strangulation, assault and harassment’ as per TMZ.
The alleged victim, a female, told the police Majors got into an argument with her and proceeded to ‘attack her.’ The nature of their relationship is currently unknown.
According to a source who spoke with the publication the victim had visible injuries on her body, including a ‘laceration behind her ear, redness and marks to her face.’
However, his rep has denied the allegations saying, ‘He’s done nothing wrong. We look forward to clearing his name and clearing this up.’

Following the altercation she was taken to a local hospital and is currently in stable condition.
Meanwhile the actor was cuffed and taken to jail right away, as police ‘felt there was enough evidence for probable cause.’
Cops were called to the scene around 11AM, near the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.
The Santa Barbara born entertainer is reportedly now out of custody.

Meanwhile the NYPD released a statement to TheWrap that read, ‘A preliminary investigation determined that a 33-year-old male was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30 year-old female. The victim informed police she was assaulted. Officers placed the 33-year-old male into custody without incident.’
Not much is known about Majors’ personal life, aside from the fact that he has a 10-year-old daughter, though it seems he is not married to her mother, as per a 2020 interview with W magazine.
The news comes on the heels of a number of blockbusters the actor recently starred in, including Creed III, as well as Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
He played Damian Anderson in Creed III against director and co-star Michael B. Jordan. He also recently starred as the Marvel villain Kang the Conquerer in Ant-Man.

Majors was also present at the Oscars earlier this month, and served as one of the many presenters.
Majors took to the stage with his co-star Michael B. Jordan to present the award for Best Cinematography.
Majors will also be starring in an upcoming spin-off – Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
The upcoming Marvel film is slated to be released on March 2, 2025.
