DONALD Trump’s granddaughter Kai has shared a montage of behind-the-scenes family snaps from the inauguration and fans are stunned by how much she resembles her aunt Ivanka.
The avid golfer, 17, shone in a sparkling blue gown as she posed next to mom Vanessa in one picture and beamed with Ivanka in another.
Kai is a rising star within the Trump family, having addressed crowds at last year’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin – days after her granddad was shot at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
And, she offered fans a behind-the-scenes insight into Trump’s star-studded election night party in Florida.
Kai has an incredibly close relationship with the president over their love of golf.
And, she has shared a montage of pictures from the family’s celebrations at last week’s inauguration.
On Monday, Kai uploaded a collection of photos to Instagram and captioned her montage: “Moments from DC.”
In one picture, she was snapped posing beside Vanessa, the ex-wife of Donald Trump Jr.
She sported a midnight blue dress that was adorned with glittery flecks that sparkled.
Her hair was down and straight and it framed her face perfectly as she beamed for the camera.
It was the picture with Ivanka that caught viewers eyes.
Kai’s outfit was more conservative look, which comprised of a gray knitted dress.
On top of the gray ensemble, Kai sported a gray necklace and completed the look with a chic black coat.
Fans couldn’t help but comment on how similar she looked like Ivanka.
“You look so so much like your Aunt Ivanka,” one fan chimed.
“Both beautiful.”
Who stole the Inauguration Ball fashion crown?
Fabulous’ Deputy Fashion Editor, Abby McHale, gives her take on the political dance floor.
Old school 1950’s Hollywood glamour seemed to be the theme for the ladies of the Trump family at the Liberty Ball last night.
Melania, sticking to her monochrome colour palette seen throughout the day, wore a Hervé Pierre strapless dress, complete with a black choker and broach dating back to 1955, borrowed from Harry Winston.
And she wasn’t the only member of the family wearing something with sentiment to the past, with Ivanka Trump donning a recreation of a Givenchy dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in 1954.
Melania knows how to look classy, subtly stealing the crown of best dressed with sharp silhouettes that still hug her figure and a clean colour palette.
She also knows what style suits her, having worn another Hervé Pierre dress to Trump’s first inauguration ball back in 2017.
The only member of the family who didn’t echo the muted hues of the rest was Lara Trump, opting for a fiery Republican red number instead.
Tiffany and Kai Trump on the other hand went for glitzier options with the latter’s dress giving prom vibes that you would naturally expect of a 17-year-old.
All in all, out in full force they have brought back the fashion of the Gilded Age, opulent and luxurious.
“Y’all look like sisters,” another posted.
“You and Ivanka = twins,” a third fan wrote.
The social media user was not the only fan who thought Kai and Ivanka are twins.
Kai also shared pictures from the Inauguration balls.
Ivanka shone as she sported a strapless, black and white Givenchy dress originally designed for Audrey Hepburn in the 1950s.
She had a beaming smile as she posed with other members of her family at the event.
Don Jr, Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner, and Tiffany Trump’s husband Michael Boulos looked suave in their tuxedos.
Kai danced with Don Jr as they took to the stage.
Fans believe Kai is heading for a career in politics, with some believing she’ll be the first female US president.
But, in the short term, she is set to play golf at the University of Miami.
She announced the news in the summer and has recently visited the university.
“I would like to thank my mom, Vanessa, and my dad, Don, for always supporting me through my journey,” she told her Instagram fans in August.
“I would also like to thank my great team for getting me to this point.
“I would like to thank my Grandpa for giving me access to great courses and tremendous support.”
During the RNC, Kai recalled how Trump calls her while she’s at school to talk golf.
