In pictures from her softball roster in 2017, Leavitt appeared fresh-faced and golden blonde.

She’s also pictured looking fierce on the outfield in her Saint Anselm College Hawks uniform.

As a freshman, Leavitt started in 36 games, according to her 2017 roster.

She was third on the team with three home runs.

During her sophomore year, she played in 19 games. She appears to have only played during her first two years at Saint Anselm.

The New Hampshire native attended the Catholic college on a softball scholarship.

She graduated in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in politics and communication.

Leavitt made the Saint Anselm dean’s list and honor roll in both her freshman and sophomore years.

In 2017, she founded the school’s first broadcasting club and worked with other students to cover local sports and college news.

She interned at ABC affiliate WMUR-TV and wrote opinion pieces for the school’s newspaper, the Saint Anselm Crier.

During her time on campus, Leavitt was an outspoken supporter of President Donald Trump throughout his first term.

While still in college, she interned at Fox News and in Trump’s White House press office.

Shortly after graduating in 2019, she worked in the White House first as a presidential speechwriter before becoming assistant press secretary under former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany.

After the first Trump administration, Leavitt worked as the communications director for New York Republican Representative Elise Stefanik.

WHITE HOUSE GIG

Leavitt was hired on as Trump’s national press secretary for his presidential campaign in January 2024.

Trump announced her appointment as the youngest-ever White House Press Secretary in November, saying, “Karoline is smart, tough, and has proven to be a highly effective communicator.”

“I have the utmost confidence she will excel at the podium and help deliver our message to the American people.”

Leavitt has already garnered attention during her short time in the White House for her fiery briefings and her 32-year age gap marriage.

Earlier this week, she gave a glimpse inside her busy schedule balancing her press secretary duties with being a young mom to her six-month-old son Niko.
