KAROLINE Leavitt has blasted the Democrats for their behavior during President Donald Trump’s speech to Congress.

The White House press secretary, 27, said she was disgusted with the Dems who protested during Trump’s historic joint address on Tuesday night – but she wasn’t surprised.

Multiple lawmakers refused to stand and clap during Trump’s speech in the House chambers – joining other Democrats who protested by wearing political messages, holding up signs, and walking out during the address.

Leavitt slammed the protesting as the “most shameful moment in the history of presidential addresses in that beautiful chamber.”

“The behavior of Democrats last night was completely disgraceful and demonstrated how severely out of touch they are with the American public,” Leavitt said during a White House briefing on Wednesday.

She slammed Democrats for screaming at the president while he spoke about the changes he’s made in the first six weeks since returning to the White House.

During the opening of Trump’s address, Democrat Congressman Al Green had to be removed from the room after he refused to sit down and stop heckling during the speech.

“Worst of all, they disrespected the American people,” Leavitt said.

She went on to slam Dems for refusing to stand or clap for Melania Trump’s special guests, whom the president recognized during his address.

“One of the only things that could get Democrats off their feet last night was cheering for Ukraine – not for America,” Leavitt said.

The House chamber erupted in applause when Trump revealed on Tuesday that peace in the Ukraine-Russia war might be imminent after Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky wrote him a letter.

Leavitt said Trump’s speech was a “clarifying moment” for America.

MSNBC hosts Nicolle Wallace & Rachel Maddow slammed for ‘twisted’ rants on brain cancer survivor, 13, honored by Trump

“The Democrats exposed themselves as the party of insanity and hate. The party that wants to put America last,” she said.

“They’ve allowed their Trump derangement syndrome to stop them from celebrating America and our people. We will not allow them to forget that.”

The key moments from Trump’s first Congress address...

  • Petty Democrats refuse to stand as Trump enters the room
  • Representative Al Green is thrown out just minutes into the address
  • Republicans give suited Elon Musk a standing ovation as Trump applauds his DOGE efforts
  • Trump slams ‘total mess’ that he inherited from Biden
  • Democrats hold signs protesting the Trump administration and walk out during his address
  • Trump doubles down on reciprocal taxes coming April 2
  • Tells politicians he’s ‘reclaiming’ the Panama Canal
  • Trump reveals a surprise letter he received from Zelensky and insists Russia has given him ‘strong signals’ they are ready for peace

She went on to slam the mainstream media for joining in on the backlash.

Leavitt slammed MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace for making disturbing remarks about one of the Trumps’ special guests, 13-year-old DJ Daniels.

“Last night, MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace disgustingly looped in a 13-year-old boy with brain cancer into an attack on the president over January 6,” she said, referencing the 2021 insurrection.

Daniels, who battled brain cancer for six years, was sworn in as an honorary Secret Service agent during Trump’s speech on Tuesday.

Wallace said she “felt joy” when Daniels was recognized but then threw in a bizarre dig at the president.

“I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer, but I hope he never has to defend the United States Capitol against Donald Trump’s supporters and if he does, I hope he isn’t one of the six who loses his life to suicide,” the political commentator said.

Leavitt also called out CNN for describing the address as “divisive.”

“President Trump wasn’t divisive. The Democrats were,” Leavitt said.

She added, “It’s sad and frankly pathetic that Democrats and liberals in the legacy media continue to allow their hatred for the president to override their love for our country.

“But nevertheless, the president will continue to unify this nation through policies that are grounded in common sense and that uplift all Americans.”
