Kimberly Guilfoyle’s next move is to Greece.

The Senate voted Thursday to confirm the former Fox News host and ex-fiancé of Donald Trump Jr. as President Donald Trump’s Ambassador to Greece.

After returning from August recess, Republicans in Congress made it a priority to get confirmation votes on the schedule, including for Guilfoyle, Capitol Hill insiders tell the Daily Mail.

It was part of a massive package, which also included confirmations for 47 other Trump nominees across government agencies after Democrats blocked more nominees than ever before in efforts to oppose Trump and the GOP-dominated Congress. 

The Senate voted 51-47 in support of the package that confirmed Guilfoyle, 56. 

The next steps will be Guilfoyle’s swearing-in and then her big move to Athens where she will officially assume her role at the U.S. Embassy. 

Guilfoyle will be sworn into her role next week, a source familiar with her schedule told the Daily Mail. And she is expected to arrive in Greece and move into the official Ambassador’s residence before the end of October. 

She is succeeding Ambassador George Tsunis.

‘I am profoundly grateful to President Donald J. Trump and the United States Senate for their trust and confidence in me. It is the honor of my life to serve as the first female Ambassador of the United States to the Hellenic Republic,’ Guilfoyle said in a statement to the Daily Mail.

She continued: ‘Greece is the birthplace of democracy, liberty, and the rule of law — the very ideals that inspired our American Founders and continue to make America the greatest nation on Earth.’

Guilfoyle’s hearing before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee was held July 9 alongside four other nominees.

All 12 Republicans on the Senate Foreign Relations panel voted to advance Guilfoyle’s nomination for a full floor vote. One Democrat, Sen. Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, voted in her favor.

Donald Trump Jr.’s 16-year-old son came to Washington, D.C. that day to support his almost-step mother during her hearing.

Also on Guilfoyle’s bench of support was her son, Ronan Villencey, 18, and her younger brother, Anthony ‘Tony’ Guilfoyle Jr., 53.

Donny III sat in the front row beside Ronan and stayed after the hearing to take photos with Guilfoyle.

For much of his formative years, Guilfoyle dated and was engaged to Donny’s father.

Last year, the two publicly cut off their romance after Don Jr. was seen flaunting around Palm Beach, Florida with his new fling Bettina Anderson.

Palm Beach insiders have told the Daily Mail that Guilfoyle maintains a relationship with her ex’s five children.

After her heraing, Guilfoyle’s confirmation by the full Senate was delayed two months as Democrats stone-walled the process for dozens of nominees until after the August recess.

President Trump announced in December his intention to nominate his son’s ex-girlfriend and a key 2024 campaign surrogate to be ambassador to Greece in his second term.

Her nomination came just a few months after news broke of the president’s eldest son’s new relationship with Anderson.

Still, Don Jr. posted to X at the time his congratulations to his ex-fiancée on her nomination.

Guilfoyle, before her relationship with Don Jr., was married for five years to Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom while he was mayor of San Francisco.

She also spent 12 years at Fox News where for seven of those years she was co-host of the evening panel show The Five.

Even though she signed a long-term contract extension in mid-2017, Guilfoyle abruptly left the network a year later and began working for the pro-Trump America First super PAC.

During the short confirmation hearing on July 9, Guilfoyle faced just a handful of questions from senators related to Greece’s relationship with the U.S., Israel, Cyprus and the rise in tensions with Turkey.
