NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani stands out as one of the most intensely focused Democrats in recent memory. He has a knack for steering any unrelated event or public engagement towards the “Palestinian cause,” accusing Israel and the United States of perpetuating “genocide” against Hamas and Hezbollah, groups that openly aim to eradicate Jewish people and their Western allies.

This was evident during the weekend of March 7th and 8th, when Mamdani diverted attention from an attempted terrorist attack by two teenagers at Gracie Mansion, influenced by ISIS according to the DOJ, to instead denounce Islamophobia.

“This was a despicable protest fueled by white supremacy, titled ‘Stop the Islamic takeover of New York City,'” Mamdani declared. “As the city’s first Muslim mayor, I am all too familiar with anti-Muslim bigotry, as are the nearly one million New Yorkers who call this city home,” he stated, offering only a cursory mention of the attack itself, where explosives were used.

“This was a vile protest rooted in white supremacy entitled ‘Stop the Islamic takeover of New York City,” Mamdani proclaimed. “I’m the first Muslim mayor of our city. Anti-Muslim bigotry is nothing new to me, nor is it anything new to the roughly one million New Yorkers who know this city as our home,” he went on to say while merely giving a passing reference to the attack itself, where IEDs were thrown.
