CHILLING doorbell footage showed the moment a creep dressed as the devil & holding an apocalyptic sign stalked a couple’s home.

Two homeowners in Texas were left terrified by the appearance of the unknown man signalling to a Bible verse.

Horrifying doorbell footage shows a masked man approach a house on Saturday evening at around 8pm, before ringing the doorbell and holding up a cardboard sign.

The figure is dressed in a scary devil mask with massive horns coming out of the top and bright yellow glowing eyes.

The unknown person rings the doorbell and stands feet away from the front door, seemingly waiting for someone to answer.

After waiting a few seconds, they knock on the door.

When nobody answers, the masked individual walks behind the home and stands on the back driveway of the same house with the sign.

He is holding up a sign that reads “REVELATION 20:1-15.”.

This refers to a Bible passage that describes the apocalypse and how believers will go to heaven, while nonbelievers will be thrown into the lake of fire.

The passage is about people who do not follow the teaching of Jesus, and the sinful fate that awaits them in hell.

The freaky incident took place at a woman’s home in Carrollton, just north of Dallas.

The homeowner said: “I’m scared. I’m scared to leave the house. I’m scared to be at the house.

“It’s about the end of times. It’s about judgment day. I freaked out. I couldn’t even think of anything.”

At the time, the woman and her husband had gone out for dinner and stopped to buy a Powerball ticket.

The Carrollton Police Department are reporting it as an isolated incident, and the devil at the door did not commit a crime.

A spokesperson for the department said: “We encourage residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.

“Our priority is the safety and well-being of our community, and we will continue to stay alert to ensure Carrollton remains a safe place for all.”

There has only been one report of a case like this, suggesting that the unidentified creep has not done this again.

However, neighbors in the area told local media that they are on guard now too.

It is unknown if the masked man was playing a prank or trying to suggest something darker.

There’s currently no investigation into the odd occurrence.
