President Donald Trump has delegated federal agents to assist in fighting crime in D.C. as part of his move to help clean up the city.
They’ve been involved, showing themselves around D.C., and that’s good policing — to discourage bad actors.
However, there was one man who was apparently upset with their presence in the city.
According to the police, a Customs and Border Patrol agent was with other CBP agents and members of the Metro Transit police when a man, Sean Dunn, 37, allegedly began yelling at him.
A police affidavit states that Dunn told the officer, “F*** you! You f***ing fascists! Why are you here? I don’t want you in my city!”
Officials say Dunn continued his conduct for several minutes before crossing the street and continuing to yell obscenities at the officer.
That’s when things truly went off the rails.
The man allegedly hurled a footlong sandwich into the chest of the CBP agent, then found out that was unwise, as he turned and fled, but then was immediately chased down by the agents.
According to the police affidavit, the man was taken to the MPD Third District police department to be processed, where he reportedly admitted, “I did it. I threw a sandwich.”
U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro then made a statement about the incident.

She said President Trump had vowed to make D.C. safe and beautiful again, and that they deployed a variety of federal agents to help the Metropolitan Police Department fight crime in the city.
“And the president’s message to the criminals was, ‘If you spit, we hit,'” she said.
She explained what was going to happen after the man’s alleged action.
“He thought it was funny. Well, he doesn’t think it’s funny today because we charged him with a felony – assault on a police officer. And we’re going to back the police to the hilt. So there! Stick your Subway sandwich somewhere else!”
That’s a big message to send to people right there. If they allegedly engage in any bad acts, it will not be fluffed off anymore in D.C., not if the feds are involved. Manpower and consequences operate as a big deterrent. Additionally, to the good people who’ve been yearning for help, they can know it has finally arrived.
Pirro isn’t messing around. Meanwhile, the Democrats are acting like crime isn’t an emergency in D.C., just like they tried to argue Joe Biden’s economy wasn’t a problem. The left’s answer to Trump’s action? Bang pots and pans, because surely that will make things better and not just annoy everyone. How do they think that will fly with the residents?
