St. Johns County Altercation Leads to Arrest in Stabbing Incident, Authorities Report

Alton Hobbs, aged 37, is currently in custody, facing multiple charges related to an altercation that escalated into a stabbing on South Woodlawn Street.

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities have apprehended a man following an incident in St. Johns County where a fight led to a stabbing, as announced by the sheriff’s office on Friday afternoon.

The confrontation reportedly took place on South Woodlawn Street this past Wednesday.

According to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, the altercation involved several individuals. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a man who had sustained stab wounds, and he was promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical care.

During the brawl, 37-year-old Alton Hobbs allegedly brandished a knife and inflicted stab wounds on the victim, according to the sheriff’s office.

Hobbs now faces charges of violation of probation, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and fighting.

The victim’s identity and the name of the individuals involved in the fight were not released.
