Megyn Kelly used the [expletive] word while condemning US Attorney General Pam Bondi’s plan to crack down on ‘hate speech’ in the wake of Charlie Kirk’s murder. Kelly reacted to Bondi’s comments on Wednesday, saying: ‘Pam Bondi said one of the dumbest things you can say as an Attorney General.’

Bondi sparked massive backlash among conservatives after she pledged to prosecute ‘hate speech’ violators no matter their political persuasion. Critics say any such prosecutions would fly in the face of Americans’ cherished First Amendment right to freedom of speech and expression, with many likening Bondi’s remarks to those of the far left.

The AG made the gaffe during an appearance in former White House official Katie Miller’s podcast this week. Miller is the wife of Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, which Kelly pointed out as she slammed her for her line of questioning.

‘What kind of a question is that? It was completely teed up in a way that sounds like a lefty…. “Are you going to crack down on hate speech?” What the [expletive]’ an outraged Kelly said. ‘That’s not that is not a question that a conservative would ask.’

Kelly added: ‘While her husband fully understands the law and has been behind the most critical policies of the Trump administration that have been very successful, she clearly doesn’t and she doesn’t understand the conservative movement or she would not have asked that question.’

Kelly added of Bondi: ‘And then for Pam Bondi to not say, “Whoa, whoa, sister. We on the right do not crack down on hate speech. We don’t believe in that nonsense.”‘ The former Fox News star is the latest conservative to slam Bondi over her comments about hate speech.

‘There’s free speech and then there’s hate speech, and there is no place, especially now, especially after what happened to Charlie, in our society,’ said Bondi. ‘We will absolutely target you, go after you if you are targeting anyone with hate speech, anything, and that’s across the aisle.’ Conservatives pounced on Bondi’s comments with some referring to the attorney general as ‘a moron.’

‘Our Attorney General is apparently a moron,’ wrote Erick Erickson on X. ‘There’s free speech and then there is hate speech.’ No ma’am. That is not the law.’ Conservative commentator Matt Walsh has called for Bondi to be fired. Meanwhile, Fox News chief political analyst Brit Hume slammed Bondi for not aware that hate speech is protected in the Bill of Rights.

‘Someone needs to explain to Ms. Bondi that so-called ‘hate speech,’ repulsive though it may be, is protected by the First Amendment. She should know this,’ Hume wrote. ‘Pam Bondi is WRONG on this one,’ added Hollywood conservative actor Rob Schneider.

‘If FREE SPEECH means anything it’s the freedom to say things that OTHER people may LOATHE! Outside of the incitement to violence, FREE SPEECH IS ALL SPEECH! You are either for ALL of it or NONE of it!’ But Bondi defended her comments by writing on X, ‘Hate speech that crosses the line into threats of violence is NOT protected by the First Amendment.

‘It’s a crime. For far too long, we’ve watched the radical left normalize threats, call for assassinations, and cheer on political violence. That era is over.’ Bondi’s First Amendment came less than three months after she sparked liberal and conservative fury over her botched release of files detailing Jeffrey Epstein’s activities.

She angered many MAGA supporters in July after the Justice Department – which she oversees – released a memo saying Epstein did die by [self-murder] in August 2019. The Justice Department also backtracked on Bondi’s earlier promise to release every file in its possession that detailed the [child abuser] financier’s activities.
