Megyn Kelly launches blistering attack on top MAGA figure as cracks in administration emerge

Conservative commentator Megyn Kelly has called out US Attorney General Pam Bondi for ‘multiple inconsistent statements’ surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s long-sought-after ‘client list.’

On Monday, Bondi’s Justice Department released findings stating that the convicted child sex trafficker never even kept one – earning harsh criticism from leading MAGA figures, including Tucker Carlson and Laura Loomer.

The revelation came after Bondi insisted to Fox News in February that the list was ‘sitting on [her] desk right now to review.’

On Emily Jashinsky’s After Party YouTube show Tuesday, Kelly joined the chorus of right-wing voices bashing Bondi for the backtrack.

‘Pam Bondi has definitely made multiple inconsistent statements, and I’m sorry, but she does not deserve the benefit of my good opinion. And I am not prepared to give it to her,’ said the former Fox News firebrand, who did defend her one-time colleague Dan Bongino, who is now deputy director of the FBI.

Kelly seized on comments Bondi previously made to Fox host John Roberts pledging to release the list.

‘She’s – yes, on camera saying, that clip… where John Roberts asked her, “Do you have a client list, like are you going to release a client list?” And she said, “Yes,”‘ Kelly said.

‘He said “client list”. And she said, “Yes, it’s on my desk right now.”‘

‘It’s not amorphous,’ Kelly added. ‘It’s very clear. She said yes.’

She also took issue with Bondi’s February release of Epstein documents to right-wing influencers that turned out to contain no new information.

The influencers, who Kelly said ‘had been very good to Trump,’ ‘did not deserve the humiliation that she heaped upon them.’

‘Why would she do that?’ Kelly asked. ‘And it led to behind-the-scenes, like all the White House staffers, like the top people in the White House for Trump, distancing themselves from Pam Bondi immediately.’

Kelly also theorized that Bondi merely ‘wanted to have some moment where she looked like she was the one.’

She also pointed out that Bondi blamed the lack of revelations on the FBI for not fully briefing her.

‘No lawyer just sloppily calls all these PR people in and says, “Here are the files” without knowing what’s in there, but she wants us to believe she did,’ Kelly concluded.

‘Okay, so she either was clueless or she intentionally embarrassed them. I don’t know which is better.’

Her handling of the case has reportedly created a rift between her office and the FBI’s top brass, including Bongino and agency Director Kash Patel.

On Monday, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt did not answer a question asking if Trump would explain to his base why the administration isn’t going after those involved with Epstein, instead saying that the Trump team is committed to making sure all those who commit crimes are jailed.
