During a heartwarming visit to North Carolina, First Lady Melania Trump and Second Lady Usha Vance were warmly welcomed by the families of military personnel at Marine Base Camp Lejeune and Marine Corps Air Station New River. The encounter was filled with hugs and joy, surpassing their expectations.

Embarking on their inaugural joint trip, Melania and Usha aimed to express gratitude to military members and their families for their sacrifices, especially as the holiday season approaches. This visit held personal significance for Usha, whose husband, Vice President JD Vance, is a former Marine.

The delightful moments captured during their visit have been shared widely, showcasing the touching interactions between the dignitaries and the families.

And the clips coming out of their visits are just too cute.

Here are some of Melania and Usha’s visits with elementary children in Jacksonville.

In the first clip, the First Lady is sitting at the kiddie table with young kids doing some kind of arts and crafts with paper and crayons.

The second video showed a sweet interaction between President Donald Trump’s wife and one of the children, who looked like he wanted to give the first lady a hug, but was shy about it.

And then there was this hilarious moment between the second lady and a student, who appeared to want to keep Usha all to herself.

The comment from the teacher absolutely cracked me up.

“Chloe, share her,” the teacher said after Vance stated, “Hi, I’m getting pulled away.”

At one of the stops, the first lady also spoke to family members and high schoolers at Lejuene High School, thanking them and their families.

“I want to thank you, all of you, because you are military families behind our nation’s defense, and thank you for your service,” Melania said. “My husband, the president, is sending best regards. We are both thinking of you, and you’re in our thoughts and prayers for holidays, every day, but especially for the holidays.”

It might be too soon to say one of these clips will go viral. But one thing is for sure: both the first and second ladies showed pure class, even when things got tricky.
