Contrast that to the glowing coverage they gave former First Lady Michelle Obama, who seems to be growing increasingly bitter in recent months, and Jill Biden, who many believe committed elder abuse by urging her husband to continue his reelection bid despite obvious cognitive issues.
Of course, as usual, the majority of the press got it completely wrong, and the First Lady has embraced the job the second go around and seemed to be genuinely thrilled to be part of this Great Experiment on its 249th birthday.
During the festivities, she even replicated the president’s signature dance move done to the Village People’s 1978 smash hit, “YMCA”:

It was a big day for the president as he signed his signature tax and spending measure, “The One Big Beautiful Bill,” before overseeing the big fireworks show:
First Lady Melania Trump celebrated the Fourth of July, which coincided with the signing of President Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill,” by emulating her husband’s signature dance on the balcony of the White House.
Melania struck a pose as she shimmied alongside the president while winding down their Independence Day celebrations.
The “Trump Dance” consists of the commander in chief rhythmically punching the air while swaying his hips, oftentimes to songs featured at many of his campaign rallies like the “Y.M.C.A.”
Melania waved her open palms up and down as she bounced on her feet while Trump watched on adoringly.
