MELANIA Trump has been hailed by fans after she was seen rocking a navy ensemble for today’s Inauguration.
The incoming first lady sported a navy blue coat and hat and was praised for her look.
Her double-breasted coat is designed by Adam Lippes.
And Melania’s headwear is a boater-style hat designed by Eric Javits.
She finished her outfit with dark blue pumps and black leather gloves.
Her shoes are from Manolo Blahnik’s fashion label.
In one photo, Melania was seen holding onto her hat as she and President-elect Donald Trump met the Bidens this morning.
Fans rushed to hail Melania’s ensemble.
“Melania is astonishing, beautiful,” one fan gushed.
Another described her look as classy.
“Melania looking stunning as always,” a third fan chimed.
“Her bold fashion statement says she ain’t here to play this time.”
Viewers believe Melania is sending a message.
“She was done being nice and friendly like her blue outfit,” one X user claimed.
“Now she means business and no weapon formed against them shall prosper.”
While Melania was hailed, Jill Biden was slammed by critics.
And Kamala Harris was accused of dressing for a funeral.
Harris has opted for an all-black attire.
The Trumps met the Bidens at the White House before tycoon Donald is sworn in as president for the second time.
It is tradition for the incoming president to meet the outgoing president commander-in-chief before the swearing-in ceremony.
Trump broke that tradition in 2021 when he didn’t meet with Biden.
Biden reportedly told Trump “welcome home” as he arrived.
Melania’s navy look differed from the light blue Ralph Lauren attire she sported in 2017.
MEET AND GREET
Melania and Trump met the outgoing First Family — moments after vice president-elect JD Vance and his wife Usha exchanged pleasantries with Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff.
Snaps showed Usha, who is rocking an all pink outfit, beaming as she stood next to Emhoff.
Usha was told where to stand by Emhoff as the four gathered on the steps for a photograph.
Biden and Trump have since departed for the Capitol, where the inauguration will be held.
Biden confirmed he left a letter for Trump at the Oval Office.
This year’s swearing-in ceremony is being held at the Capitol Rotunda because of the Arctic blast that has slammed Washington.
The last time an inauguration ceremony happened inside was in 1985 when Ronald Reagan was sworn in for the second time.
Those who have been seen heading to the inauguration include ex-British prime minister Boris Johnson and Tesla mogul Elon Musk.
Musk and Trump have developed a bromance over the last few months.
Musk and his son X have been seen at Trump rallies and galas at Mar-a-Lago.
Argentine president Javier Milei and former Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell are also at the inauguration.
BIDEN’S LAST ACT
Hours before leaving office, Biden pardoned ex-congresswoman Liz Cheney and Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Fauci, 84, was the face of the federal government’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, Cheney is a vocal Trump critic and was on the January 6 committee investigating the 2021 Capitol riots.
The pardons were pre-emptive as both Cheney and Fauci have not committed any crimes.
Last month, Biden pardoned his son Hunter despite repeatedly saying he wouldn’t.
