AT least four people were gunned down in a burst of daytime violence inside a Miami-Dade warehouse complex, according to witnesses.
The chaos unfolded Thursday afternoon in an industrial area packed with small business and auto shops.
Deputies swarmed the Glenvar Heights neighborhood just before 1:30 p.m., after multiple 911 calls reported gunfire.
Miami-Dade County Sheriff’s Office confirmed there were “multiple” victims, but did not specify a number.
A witness at the scene, business owner said he saw at least four people who had been shot.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews and sheriff’s deputies flooded the scene minutes after the first calls.
Video captured tense moments as deputies moved in with shields raised and weapons drawn, approaching a warehouse unit.
Footage then showed a person lying motionless on the floor inside.
Moments later, several individuals were seen sprinting out of the building with their hands in the air as law enforcement evacuated the area.
