A missing 13 year-old has been found following a desperate plea from her mother after she went missing from their home, prompting a police search involving a helicopter.
Demi West ran out of the back door of her house in the Chantry area of Ipswich in the early hours of Saturday morning, her mother said.
Distraught mother Hayley West said her daughter, also known as Kaiden or Kai, had taken an ‘overdose’ of an unidentified drug before she left the house when an ambulance arrived.

Ms West said online that Demi had been struggling with her mental health and ‘needs help’, adding she has a ‘loving family’.
Suffolk Police have appealed for help from the public to find the missing teenager, urging residents in the area to check their gardens and sheds.
Officers also told dog walkers to remain vigilant when walking in nearby woodlands.
A helicopter was used in the search as police looked for Demi in the area.
Police have now said that she has returned home following the search.
A spokesperson for Suffolk Police said: ‘We are grateful to the public for their support, particularly to those who shared our appeal and who reported information and sightings of Kaiden. We are pleased to confirm Kaiden has returned home.’
