The frantically worried family of a missing dad of five has blasted local cops for failing to find him.

Juvar King, 43, was last seen on February 4 after failing to pick up his kids from school in Warren, Ohio.

According to police, he was driving a 2005/2006 white Buick LaCrosse with dark-tinted windows, which was later found burned out 50 miles away, just 24 hours later.

Last Friday, the Cleveland Fire Arson Unit charged Nathaniel Crockett, 28, with arson in connection to a vehicle fire.

Local reports said the torched car was discovered at an illegal dumping site at Sherwood Road and McCurdy Street in Cleveland —just five miles away from where King’s cell phone signal pinged for the final time.

Investigators confirmed the vehicle belonged to the missing dad and that the blaze had been “intentionally set.”

King’s sister, Ida, laid bare her family‘s pain and angrily accused local officials of botching the search for her brother because of his lengthy rap sheet.

In a terse phone call with The U.S. Sun, Warren PD Captain Robert Massucci stressed his officers are “doing everything they can” and that the family “knows that” before refusing to answer any more questions.

The father of five has a string of criminal charges to his name, but as his sibling emphatically pointed out, the last was back in 2020.

Ida said Juvar was a lovable father, a reformed character, and a devoted brother who was working hard as an entrepreneur to provide for his family.

“Of course they aren’t interested in this case,” she told The U.S. Sun.

“It’s always like this for someone who has got a name for themselves. It’s not important for them.”

Daughter Janvier told local website News 5 that despite encouraging help in Cleveland, Warren PD has disappointed the family.

She said she had been going “door to door” asking questions, desperately searching for clues.

“The Cleveland detectives are all doing their best to figure out what’s going on, and they’re keeping us in the loop, but Warren Police Department is not really doing much, in my opinion,” she told News 5.

“A lot of the family is not eating, missing work. I haven’t been doing my schoolwork. We haven’t been talking to each other how we usually talk to each other because it’s just draining everyone,” Janvier said.

Ida said the alarm bells began ringing as soon as Juvar failed to pick up his kids from school.

“He sees his son every day,” she said. “That’s his routine.”

She also has no idea why his car was eventually found in East Cleveland, stressing he knows “no one” there and has “no reason” to be there.

“We are still believing,” Ida added. “He’s a provider, a smart man, loyal, and very much loved. He’s a big piece of what’s missing right now.”
