This is the chilling moment armed police arrested a teenager who they thought had a gun – only to find it was a pistol-shaped bong pipe.
Officers in bulletproof vests, helmets and masks marched up to a teenage man and woman in a residential road in Strood, Kent, and made them put their hands in the air.
An 18-year-old man was arrested, taken into custody and searched, but no weapon was found on him.
Police then raided his home and found an ‘imitation firearm’ that was a smoking device shaped like a black pistol.
Video footage shows the shocking moment two officers with huge assault rifles dressed in jeans and balaclavas screamed ‘show me your hands’ and ‘get up against that wall’.
