On Monday, Georgia Cook, a former friend of Beau Lamarre-Condon, gave evidence about a Thai dinner she shared with him.

Ms Cook told the court that Lamarre-Condon arrived at a restaurant in Kirribilli on May 29, 2023, and soon asked her a disturbing question: “Would you help me hide the body?”

The court heard that Lamarre-Condon then claimed he knew how to dispose of human remains.

According to Ms Cook, he said: “After I killed them, I would take their stuff, I would take them to a dumpster and I would take their bodies to bushland where no one would ever find them.”

Ms Cook, pictured below after leaving court, said she would “never forget” Lamarre-Condon’s words.

Daniel Hart, a friend of Luke Davies, also told the court he received messages from Jesse Baird’s Instagram account after the alleged double murder.

Mr Hart said he had dinner with Baird and Davies on February 18, 2024—the evening before prosecutors allege they were killed.

He had known Davies for nearly five years, and the pair regularly went to the gym together.

At 10.20am on February 19, 2024, Mr Hart sent Davies a text asking whether he wanted to work out.

The message was sent but not delivered. Mr Hart then contacted Davies through Instagram, but received no reply.

At 11.35pm the next day, February 20, Mr Hart messaged Baird’s account to ask about Davies, writing: “Hello, is your wife alive?”

A reply came from Baird’s account: “Hello haha he did smash his phone screen Monday so I don’t know if he’s got that fixed yet.”

Mr Hart responded the following morning: “Oh hahaha that makes sense, none of my messages were delivering.”

Later that afternoon, he sent another message to Baird, saying: “So apparently police found Luke’s wallet and called his mum, no one can get in touch with him and they’re freaking out, have you spoken to him?”

There was no response. Mr Hart also made several phone calls to Baird, but no one answered.

Prosecutors allege that Baird and Davies, pictured together below, were killed at about 9am on February 19, 2024.

Police footage also showed cleaners entering Jesse Baird’s home, pictured above, just two days after the alleged double murder, despite the property having been declared a crime scene.

Detective Senior Constable Alistair Wright told the court he attended Baird’s Paddington home on February 21, 2024.

By then, Baird and Davies had allegedly been dead for two days, although authorities had not yet discovered that.

Their bodies had not been located, Lamarre-Condon had not been arrested, and police were still investigating the pair’s disappearance.

Body-worn footage showed Mr Wright and a colleague knocking on Baird’s door at about 1.15pm that afternoon, saying: ‘Hello, it’s just the police.’

Eventually, a female cleaner answered the door and said the tenants weren’t home.

She told police that she was hired to clean the house because Baird was supposed to have moved out that day, the footage showed.

Lamarre-Condon’s former police colleague Kate KcKinley told the court he was ‘jealous’ and ‘p***ed off’ when Baird started seeing Davies.

On February 22, 2024 – three days after the alleged murders – she sent Lamarre-Condon a Facebook message with a link to the article saying, ‘Please tell me this isn’t your ex-lover??’

He didn’t reply.
