THIS is the moment a self-confessed “monster” headed to a nightclub after beating a top chef to death in the street.

Omar Wilson, 31, headbutted and kicked Gordon Ramsay protege Mussie Imnetu, 41, outside Dr Power restaurant in West London.

The charity worker also punched Mussie, who didn’t lay a hand on the killer, five times in the head.

As lay collapsed and gravely injured on the ground, Wilson continued to attack the chef.

Chilling CCTV then showed him heading to the Ministry of Sound nightclub where he told a pal he had “crossed the line”.

Wilson said: “There’s a monster in me, man, and it’s just like sometimes it comes out.

“And I think I’ve messed up now, I’ve messed up, everything’s finished.”

When asked how the carnival was going, he replied: “Can’t lie. I did the hands ting [sic] and I think it’s a manslaughter.”

Wilson has now been found guilty of murder following a trial at the Old Bailey.

The court was told the horror unfolded on August 26 last year during the Notting Hill Carnival.

CCTV showed Mussie, who was head chef at the Arts Club Dubai, leaving the restaurant’s sister venue in Dover Street, Mayfair.

The Swedish national could be seen looking at phone as he departed shortly after 1pm.

Mussie then arrived at the Dr Power restaurant on Queensway, West London, at around 10.30pm.

Further CCTV showed Wilson approaching him and headbutting him before raining blows on the chef.

Mussie died from a bleed to his brain in hospital four days after the savage attack.

The court heard the blows were so brutal that the artery running from his head down into the neck was torn.

Although he fled the scene, officers were able to recover Wilson’s DNA from sunglasses he dropped at the scene.

He was arrested but claimed he was acting in self-defence as Mussie had been “harassing” girls.

When shown the CCTV of the attack, he said it “seems excessive now” and that it was “f***ing disgusting”.

Mussie was visiting the UK on business from Dubai where he lives and works.

As well as collaborating with Gordon Ramsay, he had also worked for MasterChef host Marcus Wareing and Alain Ducasse.

Wilson, who is currently self-employed and is a director for a charity, was remanded into custody ahead of sentencing on February 28.
