A WOMAN has a bone to pick with her homeowner’s association, claiming they tried to come for her over a dispute over garbage cans.
The woman, named Sammy, said in a TikTok that the “H” in HOA stands for “hater,” after sharing a letter she received from the organization.
“This is why people hate HOAs,” she said in the 40-second clip.
Sammy explained that the letter wasn’t found in her mailbox so she believes the HOA sent someone to note the violation and call their corporate office, before sending it to her.
“‘We’re writing to let you know that in our daily operations, we have noticed the following issue: trash cans visible,'” Sammy said, reading the letter.
“Extreme violation.”
The letter also had a photo of a garage with visible trash cans but Sammy said the garage didn’t belong to her.
“They have my correct address on this letter but then the garage is of someone else’s garage,” she said.
“And I know it for a fact because this one is a one-car garage and I have a two-car garage.”

Sammy said she plans on emailing her HOA so they “don’t come for me.”
“So f**king annoying,” she added.
Sammy’s video received a few comments from people who live in neighborhoods with HOAs.
Others said they would never choose to live somewhere with one.
“This is why my parents always told me to never buy with HOA,” wrote one person.
Sammy responded: “I tried so hard but every neighborhood in my area was part of an HOA.”
“Yep I will never move into an HOA neighborhood, miss me w/ that bs,” wrote another person. “This is my house not yours.”
However, someone in the comments claiming to be an HOA manager offered some advice.
“Just be nice and I’m sure they will!” they said.
