A YOUNG mother’s dead body has been found on a barge days after she was charged for making a false 911 report.

Hailey Silas, 22, was found last Saturday on a boat floating in the Mississippi River near Memphis, Tennessee.

Her death came just weeks after Silas repeatedly called 911 from a truck stop in West Memphis, Arkansas, a nearby suburb.

During the October 15 interaction, the mother asked police for a ride to the pscyh ward amidst what she called a panic attack.

She later pleaded guilty to communicating a false alarm, local CBS affiliate WREG reported.

Police have said Silas was scared, but they haven’t elaborated on what she may have been startled by.

The’ death has left her family mourning.

“I don’t want to think about my baby being hurt like that and nobody being there to save her or being there to help her,” her mother LaRena Darrow told WREG.

“I had spoken with her Thursday night, and she had sent me a couple of pictures of her on a bridge, and she looked so happy.

“And she was about to go sing karaoke, and that was the last time I talked to her.”

Darrow added that someone else picked up the phone when she tried to call Silas.

“I said, ‘This is my daughter’s profile, what are you doing on it?’ And he said, ‘Well I’m sorry Hailey doesn’t have a phone anymore,'” she recalled.

The grandmother said Silas was an “amazing” mom.

“My grandson is missing out on such a wonderful person,” she said.

Silas’ sister Daisy has started a GoFundMe campaign to help pay for funeral expenses.

It’s raised $905 of its $7,500 goal.

“Whoever is (sic) responsible for this will have their day of judgement,” Daisy wrote.

“Hailey and I basically raised ourselves, we always motivated one another no matter what was going on inside!

“God knew we needed one another growing up because had we not had each other only God knows where our souls would have ended up.

“We both endured trauma growing up only at different times witch led us both into addiction.

“Her addiction took her away from everything she loved the most.”

Police are still investigating Silas’ cause of death.
