You may recall how the Teamsters President Sean O’Brien spoke at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in 2024. That was a big deal given the history of the Teamsters’ support for the Democrats.

But it’s not surprising, given how the Democrats were treating them. Here’s how O’Brien described their dealings with Kamala Harris in an interview we covered in December.

The Teamsters going to the RNC wasn’t a one-off – it was a sign of how much trouble the Democrats are in with union workers. The Teamsters’ polling in 2024 showed they preferred Trump, for example.

Expect this movement to escalate even more, if the Democrats continue down this same path.
