Jaquith, an anchor for the CBS affiliate WRGB-TV, said she went into early labor and announced the next day she had given birth.

“What a wild 24 hours,” she said.

“And now baby boy is here.

“Soaking up kisses and cuddles for now but will share updates soon.”

Jaquith has not revealed the baby’s name yet.

The anchor was two days past her due date when she went into labor.

And, her co-star Julia Dunn shared the revelation at the top of Wednesday’s broadcast.

“We do have some breaking news this morning, literally,” she said.

“Olivia’s water has broke and she is anchoring the news now in active labor.”

Her waters broke at 4:15am less than two hours before the show started.

Jaquith told viewers she would remain on the air as long as possible.

And, she completed the broadcast.

During the show, she joked she would rather be at the news desk, than in the hospital.

“Well, hopefully I don’t see you tomorrow, but make sure you join Julia,” she quipped.
