A PERSON has died and another was taken to the hospital after a plane crashed and landed on the roof of a home.

Fire and emergency crews arrived at the home in Newberg, Oregon around 6.47pm on Tuesday, responding to reports of a “plane crash.”

Two people were on board the plane, and one of them was transported via Life Flight to a hospital.

They were listed in serious condition.
According to the Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue, the other person on the plane was killed.

The home was evacuated and no other injuries were reported.

Video on social media appeared to show the plane plunging through the sky moments before it hit the house.
