Prince William’s appearance on The Graham Norton Show thrilled viewers — but it left Robert Irwin visibly embarrassed.
The Prince and the Australian conservationist appeared together on the comedy chat show on Friday, where the conversation turned to Irwin’s risqué Bonds underwear campaign.
During the episode, the audience was shown images from the shoot featuring 22-year-old Irwin wearing only underwear while posing alongside snakes and spiders.
Irwin began to blush as 44-year-old William took a closer look at the revealing photographs.
“I can’t believe I’m looking at these with Prince William,” Irwin said, appearing coy and flustered.
“It was an underwear commercial, obviously, but I wanted to kind of create a conservation element to it,” he explained.

The royal and Australian conservationist appeared together on the comedy chat show on Friday, where Irwin’s risqué Bonds underwear advertisement, pictured, became a talking point.
“I believe in bringing the message to an audience that might not ordinarily be in that world.”
The discussion then moved to the enormous huntsman spider featured in Irwin’s advertisement, prompting a cheeky remark from William.
“I’m still thinking about your python,” William joked.
Irwin erupted into laughter. Clearly red-faced, he leaned over and buried his face in the sofa.
The playful exchange continued when the Prince cut off the celebrity conservationist after he revealed that he had named a 12-foot-long saltwater crocodile after him.
“We recently caught this beautiful 12-foot unit of a croc!” Irwin began.
“I can’t believe I’m looking at these with Prince William,” Robert Irwin said, appearing coy and flustered.

“He was beautiful, death-rolling, he had teeth like this, he came out swinging, he was just amazing!”
Irwin then revealed that he had named the crocodile after one of his favourite people — the heir to the throne.
“It is Prince William the crocodile!” Irwin announced.
An amused William quickly rejected the idea, joking that the name did not seem particularly fitting.
‘It should have been named after The Rock… it shouldn’t be me!’ William joked.
Robert previously shared on social media why he had named his latest catch after the Prince of Wales.
