45th President Donald J. Trump was indicted by a Manhattan Grand Jury Thursday evening. President Trump is expected to be arraigned in the Manhattan Courtroom at 2:15 pm eastern time on Tuesday. Tuesday’s arraignment will be the first time a president, past or present, has been arrested in American history.
Trump took to TruthSocial on Friday to express his concerns that the judge overseeing his arraignment will not give him fair due process.
“The Judge “assigned” to my Witch Hunt Case, a ‘Case’ that has NEVER BEEN CHARGED BEFORE, HATES ME. His name is Juan Manuel Marchan, was hand picked by Bragg & the Prosecutors, & is the same person who ‘railroaded’ my 75 year old former CFO, Allen Weisselberg, to take a ‘plea’ deal (Plead GUILTY, even if you are not, 90 DAYS, fight us in Court, 10 years (life!) in jail. He strong armed Allen, which a judge is not allowed to do, & treated my companies, which didn’t ‘plead,’ VICIOUSLY. APPEALING!”
On Friday, Trump also criticized Alvin Bragg’s coworker.

“Matthew Collangelo left the DOJ in Washington, D.C., to work with Bragg at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office to ‘GET TRUMP.’ Also, don’t forget Clinton Lawyer Mark Pomerantz, who left private practice to become a D.A. Prosecutor of President Donald J. Trump, only to leave during the investigative process to sell a book, and tainting the entire case, heretofore unheard of ‘stuff.’ It’s not supposed to work that way. ELECTION INTERFERENCE, KANGAROO COURT!”
Since the indictment was announced, Trump has expressed concern that he will not receive a fair trial in New York. Trump expressed his concerns in a Thursday night post on TruthSocial “They only brought this Fake, Corrupt, and Disgraceful Charge against me because I stand with the American People, and they know that I cannot get a fair trial in New York,” he wrote.
President Trump recently praised National File’s “very good reporting” on a story that Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg only received 10% of the vote when he was elected in 2021.
