Robert F. Kennedy Jr. scored an important semi-final victory in his crusade to win the job of Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary as last-minute power plays on both sides make his confirmation battle a fight to the finish.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a longtime health advocate who stood up to Big Pharma on the issue of vaccine safety and made many powerful enemies in the Swamp. Kennedy’s confirmation fight is a major litmus test for populists in the MAGA movement who seek to get anti-establishment change agents through the confirmation process to serve in President Donald Trump’s administration. As the saying goes in Washington, “personnel is policy,” and populists need to get friendly folks into the right positions to enact policy to help the American people.

The Senate voted 53-47 on Wednesday to advance Robert Kennedy’s confirmation vote to the full Senate floor. We might not get a Senate floor vote on Kennedy’s confirmation until Thursday night or maybe even Friday morning.

Susan Collins moved away from her typical RINO mentality and decided to vote for Kennedy, and it’s being reported that Lisa Murkowski, another RINO, is probably in the Kennedy camp. Thom Tillis also decided to come around and support Kennedy.

Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, who has accepted massive campaign cash from the pharmaceutical industry finally came around to RFK after a little pressure from us. Cassidy’s vote for Kennedy clinched RFK’s 14-13 victory at the Senate Finance Committee, which kept Kennedy’s candidacy going. Mitch McConnell, the only Republican to spitefully vote “No” on Tulsi Gabbard’s nomination to become Director of National Intelligence, still might vote against Kennedy in the floor vote.
