A CHILDREN’S rollercoaster sparked outrage among parents who spotted it balancing on wobbly stacks of logs.

Kids whizzed around the ride while it teetered on the precarious structure, and looked on the brink of collapse.

The dangerous set up was witnessed in Peru on Sunday – and called out by aghast onlookers.

Footage captured by an alarmed parent shows the large metal rollercoaster propped up by a dozen wooden blocks.

Some of the rickety legs are even stacked on top of one another.

In one case, the top block was seen wobbling and moving under the weight of the track – as a cart full of kids flew past.

It had shuffled almost completely off the base and looked about to fall, threatening to bring the whole lot down.

The metal bars seemed to be wedged onto the blocks without any kind of secure binding.

Fair-goers at the scene were horrified by the shaky set up.

One local said: “It defies the laws of gravity, physics, engineering, and even God.”

Another claimed: “I worked at fairgrounds in the US and you would go to jail for something like this.”

A woman called Anita joked: “Not even NASA has this technology.”

May alleged: “That’s negligence. A child could suffer an injury because of that.”

The consequences of negligence were dramatically demonstrated at a Christmas fairground in Mexico.

A huge cable car ride collapsed down into the fair, inuring multiple people.

Footage showed the enormous central pylon of the “Eiffel Tower” ride begin to tip over – almost in slow motion – before crashing down onto the Christmas fair below.

Multiple cable cars that were suspended by the pillar drop from view down into the chaos.

Concerned witnesses rushed towards the site to help the wounded.

Video of the aftermath showed injured people lying amongst a tangle of metal and cables.

Candyfloss and popcorn were strewn across the ground.

It was been confirmed that at least two people were admitted to hospital with injuries, though some reports say as many as five were hurt.
