STRANGE round lights have caught the attention of a woman who has now set out on a mission to find out their origin.

Chilling video footage captured by a California woman depicts the bright orange circles in the sky outside her home on Catalina Island.

Kathleen Hill has shown her recording to UFO investigators in hopes of piecing together where they came from.

Over the years, she has spotted the enigmatic shapes around five or six times. The first appearance was in 2007 or 2008.

“My kids and I were eating dinner. We were looking out the window and we were like look at those orange lights,” she explained.

“There were trees like a pyramid and they just stayed in the same spot. This went on for a good 50 minutes and then they just went out. They didn’t fly away. They didn’t do anything,” she exclaimed.

“They were right there in the same spot and then they just went out.”

Hill pondered the mysterious lights over the years and decided that the next time she saw them she would need to collect proof of their existence.

In 2012, that moment came. She took a video showing the lights in the distance. Then, something even more alarming happened.

“If you look, they all look rather roundish,” she repeated. “At one point they pitch at the same time and the same direction and they turn into almost like half circles.”

Hill moved the camera for a brief second to show where the lights were in relation to a house in the distance.

When she turned the camera back to the lights, they were nowhere to be seen.

She wonders if they could have plunged deep into the ocean.

Hill has explained that the circles always appear in the same general area, but not in the same exact spot. They always behave the same way.

She said that other people in the area have experienced unusual sightings of unknown origin.

Hill is not opposed to the idea that the circles could belong the extraterrestrial life.

“If you told me tomorrow they came and you showed me proof, I would believe it.”

Hill suggested that Catalina Island may be an ideal environment for aliens looking for an underwater base.

“If I were an alien looking for someplace out in the ocean, the channel between Catalina and the mainland is deep. deep, deep.”
