Sahara Ray’s Daughter’s Father Revealed After Her Fatal Overdose

New details have emerged following the tragic death of model Sahara Ray, including the identity of the father of her eight-month-old daughter.

According to birth records reviewed by TMZ, the child’s father is listed as 38-year-old Michael Bradley Dow. The outlet reported the information on Tuesday.

Records show that Ray, who was 34, welcomed her daughter in Los Angeles on January 27 at 12:19 a.m.

The Australian-American model had spoken publicly earlier this year about becoming a mother for the first time.

“Snow Ray 1/27/2026 … I can’t believe I made this little miracle with my body. I’m so proud and so in love,” she wrote in a social media post.

In July, Ray shared photos of her baby girl on Instagram, captioning the images, “My whole heart… Baby Snow.”

The Daily Mail has contacted Dow’s legal representatives for comment.

Ray, who was previously linked to Justin Bieber, died at age 34 in a Los Angeles-area hospital on Sunday. A source close to the model told The Daily Mail that she had been placed on life support after a fentanyl overdose two days earlier.

Her family made the decision to withdraw life support on Sunday afternoon, the source said, adding that Ray was surrounded by relatives when she died.

“Sahara was an incredibly passionate and kind young woman who loved her family, fashion, her daughter Snow, and surfing,” her mother, Gretchen Bach, a real estate agent, told The Daily Mail.

Bach continued, “We’re feeling the love that is pouring in from her cherished friends, fans and the many communities that she was part of around the world.”

The daughter of surfer Tony Ray, Sahara first made headlines after being linked to Bieber in 2016. She later built a successful career as a model and social media personality, attracting more than 905,000 Instagram followers.

After studying at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, commonly known as FIDM, Ray also launched and led her own swimwear label, Sahara Ray Swim.

More than two years ago, Ray revealed that she had been diagnosed with Guillain-Barré syndrome after suffering injuries in an April 2024 crash involving an alleged drunk driver.

“My whole life changed in an instant,” she said on social media, explaining that the accident had caused partial paralysis from her thighs to her feet. At the time, she relied on a wheelchair and walker.

Ray said the physical effects of the crash sent her body “into shock,” eventually leading to what she described as “this crazy sickness.”

“I got really really sick for like a week-and-a-half to two weeks,” she recalled. “During that time I barely ate any food because I couldn’t keep it down and my body got really weak.”

Ray said she had to be transported to an emergency room after dealing with tingling and numbness in her feet and legs.

‘This has been really hard to deal with,’ she said, ‘and I’ve been trying to keep a good attitude and be hopeful that my feeling comes back.’
