Altman stated in a tweet that “GPTs can save a lot of effort.” He posted a screen grab of the most recent iteration of ChatGPT, which enables users to build GPTs or personalized versions of the chatbot. Altman gave the GPT Builder instructions to “Be a chatbot that answers questions with Cringey boomer humour in an awkward shock-to-get-laughs sort of way,” escalating the already-existing animosity between the two.
