A MAN accused of multiple killings has just had another murder indictment added to his list of charges.
An Oregon man has been charged in connection to the deaths of three women, with a fourth victim just added.
Prosecutors say they’re still investigating another additional case.
Jesse Lee Calhoun was recently convicted of his fourth murder case following the death of 22-year-old Kristin Smith, according to the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.
Last year, Calhoun, 40, was indicted in connection to the deaths of Joanna Speaks, 32; Charity Perry, 24; and Bridget Webster, 31.
Their bodies were all found within a roughly 100-mile radius of each other in 2023, according to CNN, worrying locals about a possible serial killer on the loose.
He was charged with three counts of second-degree murder, and abuse of a corpse.
Prosecutors added a fourth count of both charges last week.
He already pleaded not guilty to the other deaths prior to the revelation of a fourth potential victim.
On Monday, he pleaded not guilty to the new charges, the hearing running for just over two minutes.
Partial remains of Smith were found in a Portland field in 2023.
Smith’s mother, Melissa, said that she was overwhelmed with emotion at the press conference.
“I want to thank everybody for all the support and love and keeping Kristin’s name and memory alive, and not forgotten,” she said.
“I thank the other victims’ families for staying by my side the whole way. We searched together, we fought together. We never gave up.”
The relatives of the other victims joined her at the announcement of his additional charges.
Calhoun’s attorney did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
