One of the most famous examples occurred in Trump’s first term when Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) warned that Supreme Court Justices who defied his will would “pay the price.” On Thursday night, after holding the losing hand in budget negotiations, he called Republicans “bastards.”
This is Democrat leadership, folks.
And it seems to be working, as violent anarchists have been attacking Tesla dealerships and chargers in recent days, while a crazed mob descended upon Trump Tower Thursday to show their pro-Hamas allegiance.
The latest to fall victim to this scourge is my personal favorite Trump impersonator and political commentator, Shawn Farash. What he describes happened to him and his wife is anything but funny:
My wife and I were swatted tonight.
We are totally safe.
Thank you to everyone who checked in.
We are going to do whatever is necessary to find out who is behind these coordinated attacks and hold them accountable to the fullest extent.
Thank you all for the support! pic.twitter.com/TRYsx0PF1d

He told the harrowing tale of how he was “swatted” – the “prank” when someone calls law enforcement and says violence is occurring at your house. Officers have no choice but to take the threat seriously. And they did in Shawn’s case:
Hey guys, it’s Shawn, my wife Brennan, and I just want to give you guys an update. We did just get swatted, here in Tennessee. The officers said they received a phone call that that somebody murdered somebody in the house and was planning a suicide by cop. So I received a call with that information and we cooperated with police. They were very nice.
They were not aware that this was going on across the country.
Shawn asked his wife Brennan how that felt:
BRENNAN: I was shaking. I was terrified. I was the only one awake. He was asleep. and they were just pointing their guns into the house and I, I… I was very scared.
SHAWN: That’s the point and that’s what these people are trying to do. They’re trying to silence folks who are not afraid to speak their mind online. And you’ve seen it happen to so many other people across the country. We are gonna do what we can from Tennessee to try and get to the bottom of who’s responsible for it.
He also made clear that these threats are not going to stop him from speaking out or continuing to expose Democrats on his popular Twitter account:
We’re seeing it happening all across the country, we have nothing to hide, you know, none of this stuff happened. But the bottom line is that, if the result was that that the person or people who did this [thought that I] was gonna stop doing things, it’s not going to happen…
Bottom line is I’m not going to stop.
