LAW enforcement officials have debunked a series of sick Facebook posts claiming two serial killers are on the loose and terrorizing US states.

Police in Ocala, Florida have called the fabricated posts completely fake as one of the mug shots circulating of the alleged killers has been identified as serial stabber Joanna Dennehy from England, who is serving life in prison.

The frightening Facebook posts urge residents to “lock their doors and stay vigilant” claiming a serial killer husband Ryan Edward and a woman, Alice Chapman, murdered three female police officers in the area.

The post added that the alleged killer “prey on elderly people,” vandalize parked cars, and gain entry into properties by door knocking on home, claiming to be homeless before attacking.

Ocala Police have quashed the online posts, urging residents to check for official statements or information from credible news outlets, according to ABC affiliate WCJB-TV.
