A Starbucks customer who ordered Charlie Kirk’s favorite drink in his honor was horrified to find a snarky message on her cup.

Autumn Perkins picked up a mint majesty drink with two honeys – famously the conservative commentator’s drink of choice – at a Middletown, Ohio store inside Kroger on Sunday evening.

On the same day, hundreds of thousands of mourners tuned in to watch Kirk’s public memorial in Arizona, where President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance and Kirk’s wife Erika paid tribute to the activist, who was assassinated on September 10.

Perkins said when she received the order, she noticed the words ‘racist’s fav drink’ written on her cup.

‘I feel like Charlie stood for respect – we don’t have to agree on everything. We can disagree on a lot of things, but we respect each other,’ Perkins told Fox News.

‘It’s time for people to stop this nonsense.’

Perkins addressed her concerns with the manager of the Starbucks, which was run by the local Kroger.

The manager informed her that the employee involved admitted to writing the nasty message, and was fired for doing so.

‘People should be fired if they’re doing something like this,’ Perkins said.

A Starbucks spokesperson agreed the message on the cup was ‘unacceptable’ and cited ‘clear policies that prohibit negative messages to help preserve a welcoming environment.

‘This Starbucks location is licensed and operated by Kroger. We understand that this associate was terminated by Kroger.’

A Kroger spokesperson maintained the message the employee left on the cup ‘does not reflect Kroger’s values.’

Despite the chain’s swift action, Perkins said she no longer intends to spend her money at Starbucks, and will encourage her children and loved ones to do the same.

The coffee giant has been under immense pressure since Kirk’s death, when mourners began flooding stores requesting his signature order and trying to use his name to do so.

Some staff initially refused, but employees have since been ordered to write ‘Charlie Kirk’ on coffee cups if customers ordered their drink in the name of the murdered activist.

Starbucks  took action after a widely-shared TikTok video showed a barista at a California store refusing to write Kirk’s name on a cup, claiming it was ‘political’ and citing company policy.

The customer requested the name ‘Charlie Kirk’ to be written on her order in honor of the late activist – but the barista declined.

The employee explained she wasn’t allowed to use any political name, but Starbucks has since confirmed names themselves, without political messaging, are allowed.

Starbucks acknowledged that it has previously issued internal guidance in response to customers attempting to use political slogans, profanities, or offensive language as their ‘name’ – often with the intent of getting a barista to say or write it aloud.

‘Over the years, we have had instances where some people have tried to abuse the system,’ the statement said.

‘For example, they’ve provided something that isn’t a name at all, but rather a political slogan with the aim of having our barista shout it out as they hand off the finished drink… We aim to be a community coffeehouse where everyone feels welcome, so we have previously provided guidance to our partners to respectfully ask the customer to use a different name when attempting to use political slogans or phrases in place of their name.’

‘We are clarifying with our team now that names, on their own, can be used by customers on their café order, as they wish.’
