Reports suggest that President Donald Trump is initiating the withdrawal of close to thirty diplomats from their ambassadorial roles and key embassy positions. This move is part of a strategic “realignment” aimed at reinforcing Trump’s “America First” approach to international relations.
A senior official from the State Department informed Fox News that numerous seasoned diplomats are being summoned back to Washington from almost 30 different nations. These diplomats will be presented with the opportunity to take on new roles within the State Department, although the precise count of those affected has not been disclosed.
In a statement to Fox News, a senior State Department official confirmed that a number of career diplomats were being recalled from nearly 30 countries to Washington to be offered other assignments within the State Department should they want them. An exact number of diplomats was not provided.
