Tammy Hembrow has opened up about an awkward encounter between her boyfriend, Grayson Te Moana, and her former fiancé, Reece Hawkins.
Speaking on the Inherited podcast, the 32-year-old influencer told host Ruby Hall that Grayson recently crossed paths with her children’s father on the Gold Coast. According to Tammy, the meeting was uncomfortable for everyone involved.
“They actually met… it was nothing, really! They didn’t even shake hands. Grayson said hi, but it was a bit of a tense encounter,” Tammy said.
“It was very much like the current boyfriend meeting the ex! That is the best way I can describe it. I feel like it was going to happen at some point.”
Tammy and Reece were in a relationship from 2014 until 2018 and share two children, Wolf, 11, and Saskia, nine.
While the interaction with Reece was reportedly frosty, Tammy said Grayson has quickly become a favourite among her loved ones.

“Grayson has met all my family and everyone adores him. My mum loves him, and he is in group chats with my dad,” Tammy said.
“My family and friends love him! My friends are all strict with who they like, so it is really, really nice!” she added.
Earlier this month, Tammy also rejected claims that she was financially supporting Grayson, who is 23.
The speculation arose during an Instagram Q&A, when Influencer Updates host Amber Paul was asked whether she believed Tammy was covering her boyfriend’s expenses.
“Yes, I do think that. I think that it is normal in a relationship. If one person earns more money, that would be the case,” Amber replied.

“He wouldn’t be able to afford going to Singapore willy nilly. He is a young guy in his 20s, and I don’t even know if he has a proper job. I think he just does casual modelling, so yes, I do think she would pay.”
Tammy soon addressed the claim in the post’s comments, responding simply: “I don’t haha.”
At the same time, Tammy has continued to fuel speculation that she may be pregnant with her fourth child.

During a trip with Grayson, the mother of three shared photos that showed her midsection, prompting renewed questions about whether she was expecting.
The images quickly attracted speculation in the Instagram comments, and Tammy appeared willing to play along with the rumours.
When one follower asked, “Are you pregnant?”, Tammy replied: “Maybe”.
The Gold Coast social media sensation also has a daughter Posy, four, with her ex-fiancé, former Ironman Matt Poole.
Grayson is the latest in a string of high-profile romances for Tammy, who previously enjoyed a short-lived interstate relationship with footy star Bailey Smith.
She was also married to Love Island Australia star Matt Zukowski from November 2024 until June 2025, with the pair confirming they had parted ways after seven months of marriage.
