A POPULAR news anchor at PIx11 has decided to leave their job after 15 years.
Primetime anchor, Tamsen Fadal, is leaving New York’s PIX11 after 15 years, according to reports.
A source inside the station claimed she will announce her departure during her Friday afternoon newscast, Page Six reports.
The 13-time Emmy award winner took to Instagram claiming to have a big announcement which she will reveal on YouTube on Tuesday.
The video showed her tearing up with the text, “I have something to tell you…”.

“Tamsen is a legend at PIX. We’re all really sad that she has chosen to step down, but we’re happy for her,” the insider says.
Among those praising the veteran news anchor, one Twitter user wrote: “The final whistle has sounded as team captain Tamsen Fadal calls time after 15 years on the airwaves.
“As you exit, nothing more than the best of luck in your incoming ventures Let’s go Tamsen!”
Outside of her career as a journalist, Fadal has become known for posting transparently on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook about what it is like to be a middle-aged woman covering topics on aging and menopause. Her following has grown tremendously.
She will allegedly make social media her full-time job after leaving television, Page Six states.
Fadal has big plans for the future; she plans on launching a podcast, writing another book, and speaking to women across the country.
