CCTV images have captured the terrifying moment intruders targeted the country home of film maker Jemima Goldsmith.

The 49-year-old daughter of late billionaire tycoon Sir James Goldsmith revealed that intruders at her country home during the night were caught on CCTV cameras.

‘Police are investigating,’ one of her friends told the Mail. ‘We have all been worried about her safety.’

Jemima, the elder sister of Tory minister Lord (Zac) Goldsmith, accused Scotland Yard of ignoring disturbing threats by protesters to break into her bedroom last November.

Dozens of rowdy demonstrators regularly gather outside her childhood home near Richmond Park, in South-West London, in protests against her ex-husband, Imran Khan, the former cricket star and prime minister of Pakistan.

The demonstrations, which took place numerous times, have included disturbing threats made against her and her children.

In a direct appeal to the Metropolitan Police, Jemima urged them to do more to protect her family following a failed attempt to assassinate her ex-husband.

She won acclaim for the romantic comedy she wrote and produced, What’s Love Got to Do with It?, which was released earlier this year.
