A BELOVED influencer and single mum has tragically died just days after undergoing cosmetic surgery.
Denisse Reyes’ health quickly started to deteriorate after a liposuction operation in Mexico left her in intensive care, her heartbroken family announced.
The 27-year-old passed away just three days after the botched surgery after suffering a fatal cardiac arrest.
Denisse underwent an operation the San Pablo Medical Clinic in Tuxtla Gutiérrez by a surgeon who was not authorised to perform the procedure, according to her family.
Doctor Orlando Gamboa was later named by Denisse’s loved ones after her uncle, Ammao RodrÃguez, said the TikTok star reacted badly to intravenous medication administered to her.
Rodriguez told the Daily Mail her heart stopped beating shortly after the operation due to the adverse reaction.
Denisse’s sister Massiel Reyes left a touching tribute for the popular social media star, saying: “The day I said goodbye to you, I hugged you, I told you ‘See you in Tampico’ and I didn’t want to let you go.
“The situation in which my sister lost her life is private, and for that reason I ask for total respect for the pain of my mother and my nephew MatÃas.
“I can only thank all those who have spoken to me out of concern for her.”
