TORIES must team up with Nigel Farage’s Reform UK to defeat Labour, Suella Braverman has said.

The ex-Home Secretary warned there was not room for both parties.

She also urged Tories to take a leaf out of Donald Trump’s playbook, praising his “raw and unfiltered” conservatism.

Speaking on a trip to Washington DC, Ms Braverman told The Telegraph: “We do need to unite the Right. We need to come to some kind of accommodation.”

She did not know what the “precise form” would look like but it could be through a merger, a coalition or a pact.

Ms Braverman has not ruled out quitting the Tories for Reform who are ahead of them in some of the latest polls.

Last month, The Sun reported on Reform’s success with younger voters.

Nigel Farage claimed that Elon Musk was set to make Reform UK the cool party among young people which could be the key to winning the next election.

Musk – who has been a vocal critic of Sir Keir Starmer’s government – had met with Farage at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago mansion.

Farage has since praised the billionaire and revealed how he could help Reform UK pull in young voters.

The MP described Musk as a “bloody hero” among the newer generation and praised his image and public persona, he told The Telegraph.

Farage said: “The shades, the bomber jacket, the whole vibe.

“Elon makes us cool – Elon is a huge help to us with the young generation, and that will be the case going on, and frankly that’s only just starting.”

Farage set high ambitions for his party and claimed the Tesla-boss would be the key to Reform’s potential success.
