A woman who joyfully chronicled her life with her husband while residing in an RV at a Florida campground has tragically passed away alongside him.

Anissa Osborne, 56, is seen beaming while holding a bouquet of roses next to her husband, Christopher, 51, in photos shared on a Facebook page where Anissa documented their nomadic lifestyle.

However, on early Sunday morning, concerned neighbors at the Ocean Pond Campground in Olustee contacted the police after failing to reach the couple, according to News 4 Jax.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered both Christopher and Anissa deceased inside their RV, each having suffered fatal gunshot wounds.

Investigators suspect the incident was a murder-suicide, with reports from First Coast News suggesting that Christopher fatally shot his wife before taking his own life.

But the couple’s family members are struggling to accept the possibility, with Christopher’s aunt telling First Coast News it ‘makes no sense.’

In all of the photos posted to Facebook and Instagram, under the username @osborne_rv_life_, the couple seemed happy, sharing hugs and holding hands.

‘My wife, my angel. I can’t live without you,’ Christopher commented on a photo posted in November.

‘He was always posting things about the love of his life and how much he loved his wife,’ said Christopher’s aunt, Sharon Alvarez.

‘To know that he killed her… this makes no sense.’

The couple had married 15 years ago, after which Anissa gave up the job she had as a nurse and moved into the RV on the campground with Christopher.

Her family members said they ‘were so thrilled’ when they first met Christopher, whom Anissa’s cousin, Laura Lorenzo Curry, described as ‘such a sweet soul.’

‘But sometimes sweet souls can have a lot of things we don’t even know about.’

The Osbornes went on to become hosts at Ocean Pond Campground in early December, managing the campground’s operations and assisting visitors.

Curry said Anissa embraced the lifestyle.

‘She would say, “I love my tiny life.” She appreciated the small things,’ she recounted, describing her cousin as ‘very, very happy’ and ‘just kind of a free spirit.’

‘She was a really vibrant, bubbly personality, absolutely hilarious,’ Curry said.

Another camp host also said Anissa was excited about working as a host, describing the Osbornes as a happy couple.

She told First Coast News she last saw Anissa on Thursday, when she stopped by their site to drop off soaps.

But when she had not seen either Anissa nor Christopher by Saturday, she contacted the authorities.

The Baker County Sheriff’s Office, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and the Medical Examiner’s Office are now continuing to investigate the shooting.

In the meantime, the couple’s family members said they are struggling to make sense of the tragedy.

‘They were a very beloved couple by their family,’ Curry said, describing Anissa and Christopher as ‘really, really lovely people.’

‘And it’s really, really tragic.’

Another of Anissa’s cousins, Deborah Helm Sells, also shared her grief on social media.

‘RIP Christopher Osborne, I am so angry at you right now, I want to beat you hard with the walking stick you made me!!’ she wrote on Facebook following the devastating news.

‘But I know she would tell me to forgive you, and I know she loved Jesus and called him by his name, so I know she is with him now.’
